Emergency Unemployment Compensation Benefits

With Oregon posting an unemployment rate of 7.3 percent in October, the state has triggered the Extended Benefits program. All Oregonians potentially eligible for the program will be notified by mail.

Currently Oregon has three unemployment programs in place: The regular 26-week claim, The Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) 13-week program, and now the Extended Benefits (EB) program.

The first week of the EB program will be December 7, 2008.
